Judith K. Carr's Obituary
Mrs. Judith Kay Carr, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on February 7, 1947 to Everett and Hazel (Stahl) Wright in Muskegon. A lifelong resident, Judith married Mark Carr on August 25, 1972 and they spent 48 wonderful years together. Judith’s passion in life was gardening. She was a Master Gardener, President of the Muskegon Garden Club, and a longtime member of Michigan Garden Clubs. She also helped others tend to their own yards while working in the Lawn and Garden section at Quality Farm & Fleet for several years. Judith also had a love for animals. She and Mark raised Himalayan cats and her dogs, Jillie and Becca will always have a special place in her heart. Judith created beautiful watercolor paintings and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by her husband, Mark; sons, Kevin (Shelly) Dumas, Sean (fiancée Karla Cheatum) Carr, and Christopher (Janell) Carr; grandchildren, Brendan Dumas, Gavin Carr, Samuel Carr, Josie Carr, Clare Carr, and Emily Carr; brother, Duane Wright; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Dumas; brothers, Homer Wright and James Wright; and sisters, Wanda McRoberts, Marie Herlein, Phyllis Reynolds, and Ruth Lane.
