Judith A. Hegbloom's Obituary
Mrs. Judith A. Hegbloom, 80, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born May 8, 1943 to John and Ann (Simon) Koslosky in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident and devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. On September 2, 1961, she married Robert G. Hegbloom and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2002. She also was preceded in death by her beloved brother and best friend, Ed Koslosky. Survivors include three children: Theresa (David) Hardesty, Robert (Michelle) Hegbloom, Lisa (Brian) Artwick; five grandchildren: Matthew Witham, Eric & Ryan Green, Taylor & Garrett Hegblom and special sister by marriage, Marcia Koslosky. A special mention to her lifelong friend Jean McMurray and also Mike & Barb Baney who always took such good care of her. Judy, affectionately known as Juju, made friends wherever she went and always had a full social calendar. She enjoyed traveling, her card girls, cooking, spending time at the Vikings and wintering in Arizona. Most importantly, she treasured time spent with her family. Judy‘s house was her home for her entire life. The memories of love and laughter that filled her home will be cherished forever by all who were fortunate to enter.The Hegbloom family would like to thank the staffs of Seminole Shores and Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional care and support she received. A mass to remember and celebrate Judy’s life will be held Saturday, October 28, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with a visitation one hour prior. Following the service the family invites you to a luncheon at The Vikings Club, 3132 Lakeshore Dr. She will be laid to rest at St. Marys Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation.
