Judith Ann Kenstner's Obituary
Judith Ann Kenstner, age 83, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born June 28, 1942, in Muskegon to Cleo and Juanita (Porter) Thompson. Jude was a proud graduate of Muskegon High School. She dedicated many years of her career as a Pharmacy Technician, serving at various hospitals before retiring from Hackley Hospital. On June 8, 1988, she married Lee J. Kenstner in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lee preceded her in death. Jude had a deep love for gardening and took great joy in tending to her yard. She also cherished playing cards—especially Poker—with her siblings and, in later years, with her grandchildren. Above all, Jude valued the time spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. SURVIVORS include her three sons: Thomas (Karen) Dunham of Arizona, Jeff (Nancy) Dunham of Marquette, MI, and Todd (Becky) Dunham of Muskegon; ten grandchildren: Dayton, Alex, Rylee Jo (Joe Carey), Jake, Adam, Stacey, Matthew, Jeffrey, Meghan (Jameson Montgomery), and Ashley; three great-grandchildren: Carsyn, Gunnar, and Easton; two brothers: Les (Mary) Thompson of Ravenna and Lou “Buck” Thompson of Fremont; sister-in-law, Vicki Thompson of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; and her favorite four legged friend, Lola. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Jeanette Crampton, Sharon Little, and Kay Thompson. A Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held from 1-5 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Pincrest Bar and Lanes, 6571 Airline Rd., Fruitport, MI 49415.
