Judith L. Oden's Obituary
Mrs. Judith L. (Greinke) Oden, age 80, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 in South Haven, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on November 26, 1938 to Theodore G. and Ida M. (Steinhauer) Carlson, Jr. Prior to moving to South Haven, Judy was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she was active with the Christian Social Concerns Committee, Catholics Acting on Social Teachings Committee, funeral luncheon committee, and was secretary of the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed walking, baking and decorating cakes. Judy had a great sense of humor and loved having a good time. Judy is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Christopher) Lorenz of Snow Camp, NC; two sisters, Christine (Robert) Grinnell of Muskegon and Nancy (Les) Bulthouse of Wellston, MI; and sister-in-law, Diane Carlson of Whitehall. Judy was preceded in death by three husbands, Ronald Greinke (1997), Russell Johnson (2001), and Robert Oden (2019); her parents; and brother, Kenneth Carlson. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. MEMORIALS in memory of Judy may be directed to the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County or God's Kitchen of West Michigan.
