Judith Elizabeth “Judy” White, age 72, of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Mercy Hospital. She was born January 7, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Edward and Elizabeth (Kearns) Meany, and marr Read Obituary
Please accept the heartfelt sympathies of the entire Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) community. We are honored that we were able to be part of Judy’s journey and deeply saddened by this loss of one of our KCAD family.
Our family lived near Judy & Doug. I remember Judy decorating water hydrants with Bicentennial persons...especially Abigail Adams. Judy was a gracious, effective hostess at Jack's. As realtor, she guided and took care of my wife and me through two house sales. Her floral creativity was spectacular. Her wisdom, wit, daring, warmth and courage were endearing. It is hard to accept her passing, except for my certainty that in the great womb of life she is very present, well, and welcoming.

Gretchen, Greg and Heather, I started my Real Estate Career alongside your mom and she is someone I will never forget. She was a lady of many talents, I always envied her art of cooking among many other things. She was a friend to many and all who knew her well, loved her. She was so much fun to be around and could find humor in most everything. Judy will be missed but it’s certain her memory will never wain. She will always be my friend. You have my deepest condolences.

Gretchen and Family, My heart goes out to you all! I just loved your Mom! She was such a kind, fun loving, and caring person. Gretchen, I have extremely fond memories of her from our childhood, and as adults! Your Mom was amazing during Our wedding last year. She knew exactly what would be perfect, for our flowers, when Mike and I got married. I will always look at Blue Delphinia and smile, and remember your Mom, as this was her suggestion and we loved it! Growing up, I loved that she was always helping at school and she was like another Mom always willing to help. I just saw her a few weeks ago, and got that big hug she always gave me. I will treasure that. This world was a better place with her in it. Hold her close, she is definitely with you. I’m here if you need anything at all.
