Judy Kaye Monroe's Obituary
Judy K. Monroe, age 63 passed away Friday evening at the Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake following a long illness. She was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on August 20, 1948 to Carl and Geneva (Shryers) Kallansrud. She was raised in Spring Lake and was a 1966 graduate of Grand Haven H.S. Judy’s career took her all over the United States, finally returning home to Spring Lake in 2000. Until health forced an early retirement, Judy was the office manager of Flour-Daniel Engineering and Construction. She is survived by her: mother, Geneva Kallansrud of Spring Lake; sister, Peggy Lyttle of Spring Lake; Brother, Carl (Lois) Kallansrud of Rosewell, NM; two step-children, Kelly (Mark) Kinne and Todd Monroe; former daughter-in-law, Sarah Monroe; four grandchildren, Adam, Renee, Olivia and Jillian; four nieces, Tina (Michael) Hornak, Terri Lyttle, Mindy Lyttle and Jennifer Kallansrud; and a nephew, John Kallansrud. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl and a sister Nancy LeSage. In accordance to her wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
