Judy Kay Grasmeyer's Obituary
Mrs. Judy Kay Grasmeyer, age 66, passed away early Saturday, December 12, 2009 at her home. She was born December 22, 1942 in Hastings, MI to Morris and Neva (Cole) Brandt, and resided in the Muskegon area for the last 22 years. Judy was a member of Calvary Church, enjoyed gardening, shopping and decorating for the holidays. She was employed by Herman Miller for the last 7 years. On May 14, 1988 she married Ron Grasmeyer and he survives her along with 7 children, Kimmie (Mike) Rivers of Constantine, MI, Kirk (DeAnna) Kulikowski of Hastings, MI, Ralph Grasmeyer of Muskegon, Lee (Karen) Grasmeyer of Muskegon, Rob (Gentry) Grasmeyer of Muskegon and Ryan Grasmeyer of Florida; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her mother, Neva Brandt; and brother, Larry (Jeanne) Brandt of Nashville, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, Morris. SERVICES will be 2 PM Tuesday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Bill Rudd officiating. VISITATION with Judy’s family will be 6-8 PM Monday, and 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2PM Tuesday. The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to VNS Hospice. Memorial Contributions to VNS Hospice, Calvary Church, or the Johnson Cancer Center Transportation Fund will be appreciated.
