Judy L. Downs' Obituary
Judy L. Downs, age 65, of Grand Haven passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Spectrum’s Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born October 26, 1941, to Robert and Lula (Sparks) Coffman in Pontiac, MI.
Mrs. Downs was a member of the Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene and was formerly employed as an instrument technician for North Ottawa Community Hospital. She enjoyed crafts, volunteering for International Aid, spending time with her grandchildren, and helping other people in any way she could.
Survivors include three sons: Marvin (Anna) Downs of Coopersville, Daniel (Jill) Downs of Spring Lake, and Kevin (Sue McIntosh) of Grand Haven; five grandchildren: Josh, Amanda, Tabitha, Tristan, and Kimberly; three great-grandchildren: Felicia, Antonio, and Marcus; and a brother, Gary (Crystal) Coffman of Pontiac. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Coffman.
The service for Mrs. Downs will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at the Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery.
