Julia A. Egeler's Obituary
Julia A. Egeler, age 69, of Muskegon, MI, peacefully passed away surrounded by loving family members on Monday, October 23, 2023 in Grand Rapids. She was born on November 6, 1953 in Grand Rapids to Lester and Roberta (Walker) Stoddard. Julia worked at Walgreens for many years prior to retiring in 2020. She enjoyed reading and watching HGTV in her spare time. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Julia was known by many as someone who thought of others before herself. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Patricia (Troy) Dowd and Roger (Robyn) Egeler; 2 step-children, Susan (Jeff) McDonald and Rob (Angela) Egeler; 2 grandchildren, Caelum Dowd and Rivers Dowd; 2 step-grandchildren, Abby McDonald and Micah McDonald; three sisters, Mary (Charles) Hansen, Patricia Stoddard, and Caroline (Jim Turnbow) Stoddard; four brothers, Robert (Mieko) Stoddard, Ronald (Lynn) Stoddard, Raymond Stoddard, and Roger (Becky) Stoddard; and many nieces and nephews. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Stoddard. A Memorial Gathering Celebrating Julia’s Life and what would have been her 70th birthday will be at The Lee Chapel Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
