Julia F. Spaniolo's Obituary
Mrs. Julia F. Spaniolo, age 88, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on March 30, 1916 to Peter & Mary (Dionise) Spaniola, and had resided here her entire life. Mrs. Spaniolo had worked at Hardy Herpolsheimers for over 20 years and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. On February 22, 1936 she married Robert R. Spaniolo, and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1979. SURVIVORS include her children, Roberta (Don) Williams of Muskegon, Pete (Karen) Spaniolo of N. Muskegon, Joe (Kathy) Spaniolo and Terri Jourden both of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Mrs. Spaniolo was also preceded in death by son, Vincent Spaniolo; daughter-in-law, Carol Spaniolo; great-grandson, Derek Douglas; 2 sisters, Rose and Virginia; and brother, Paul. SERVICES will be 11 AM Saturday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Fr. Ernest J. Bernott officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Friday evening. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to St. Mary’s Catholic Church would be appreciated.
