Julia June Gundy's Obituary
Julie Gundy, age 76, passed away November 27, 2007. She died peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrigs Disease). She was born June 6, 1931 in Muskegon to Steven and Theresa (Beluzar) Madasy. She married Delmar Gundy on October 6, 1951. Julie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was employed by Muskegon Piston Ring, El Royal Restaurant and Great Lakes Printing. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, camping, music, dancing and most of all, spending time with her family. SURVIVORS: her husband, Delmar; 6 children, Peggy (Larry Bogner) Essenberg, Lori (Bill) Jeannot, Beth Brandt all of Muskegon, Tom (Patricia) Gundy of Tucson, AZ, Troy (Kathy) Gundy of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Heidi (Tim) Payne of Lansing; 19 grandchildren, Heather, Mark, Tony, Krissi, Erin, Karlee, Kyle, Bill III, Taylor, Jesse, Lee, Austin, Christopher, Adam, Olivia, Kodi, Cassidy, Danielle and Shelby; 8 great-grandchildren, Mark Jr., Maddie, Alec, Destinee, Brandon, Tyler, Jaden and Connor; 4 sisters, May Sietsema, Rose Goven, Helen Chase and Alice (Bill) VanDonkelaar all of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gard Brandt. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Saturday 11 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Brown presiding. INTERMENT: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION: Friday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at
