Mr. Julian Soto Espinoza Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Julian Soto Espinoza, Sr., age 83, passed away in Muskegon on Monday, May 4, 2015. He was born in Bryan, TX on August 19, 1931 to Carlos Espinoza, Sr. and Natalia (Soto) Reyes. Julian had worked as a traveling industrial painter for Valliers and Whipple Painting before retiring and working as a self-employed painter. He painted many of the local buildings and historical homes in Muskegon. He was a former member of the Lithuanian Club and the Muskegon Eagles, and enjoyed spending time with his friends at Crickets. Julian was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, and in his younger years, enjoyed playing baseball. He is survived by nine children, Estela Arteaga, Irene Duran, Ricardo Espinoza, Brenda Espinoza, Julian (Maria) Espinoza, Jr., Carlos Espinoza, Raul (Sherry) Espinoza, John (Pam) Espinoza and Bryan Robinson; 25 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel (Jackie) Reyes, Domingo Reyes and Carlos Espinoza and two sisters Martina Pena and Isidra Reyna. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John Brown officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday, May 11, 2015.
