Julie Ann Abraham's Obituary
Ms. Julie Abraham was surrounded by her children and family members when she peacefully passed away on Monday, July 4th at 2:10 p.m. in her home in Grand Haven, MI. Julie (Dunn) was born minutes ahead of her twin sister Janet in Bay City, MI May 9, 1950.
Julie was raised in Bay City where she earned her degrees from TL Handy High School, Delta Community College, and Saginaw Valley State University where she finished her Teaching Degree. Later in life, Julie pursued her innovative spirit by completing a photography fellowship in Massachusetts.
Julie lived a free-spirited life of spontaneity. Her passion for photography led her to shores across the country. She followed beauty in nature: a muse for her sensitive heart and artistic mind. As a teacher, she impacted students of all ages and those with special needs. Likewise, she loved to learn and laugh, finding wisdom and whimsy in every encounter. However, her proudest joy came from the family she grew, her daughter and twin sons, and her grandchildren.
Julie's life will forever be in the thoughts and memories of her children Michelle Furci of Sarasota, FL, her twins Michael Brenay and wife Julie of Grand Haven, MI and Matthew Brenay and wife Tammy of Midland, MI.
Julie is survived by her twin sister Janet Robinson and husband Robert of Rockford, MI, her sister Kathy Langenburg and husband Edward of Bay City, MI and her brother James Dunn and wife Kathy of Huntley, IL.
Julie has entered a new world with her deceased Mother Audrey (Dunn) Pinney of Bay City, MI,
and recently deceased sister Mary Martin of Ft. Myers, FL.
Julie's precious grandchildren include Devon Brenay of Portland, OR, and Collin Brenay of Essexville, MI, Jacob Brenay and Samantha “Sammy” Brenay of Grand Haven, MI, Tiffany Keillor of Spring Lake, MI, and Ashley Noble along with great grandchildren Sophia and Grayson of Montague, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Julie would also love the mention of her fur babies: Poppy, Little Paws, and Chico.
Julie will be remembered fondly and missed by all of us.
