Julie Ann Ackley's Obituary
Julie Ann Ackley, age 47, of Spring Lake passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born in Mt. Clemens, Mi to Thomas Lee and Marietta (Dwyer) Ackley.
Julie graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1996. She had an infectious personality, loved being around people and was very gregarious. Julie was also very artistic, doing pottery, and painting. She enjoyed being a hairstylist and loved making people look beautiful. Most of all she was a family-orientated person.
Julie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Trey (Kendall Beaver) Bledsoe; two grandchildren, Tevyn Thomas Bledsoe, and Kalia Rose Bledsoe; her parents, Thomas and Marietta Ackley; her sister, Lisa (Brian) Maka; two nephews, Trent (Alexandria) Maka, and Brenden Maka; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Helen Ackley and Thomas and Mildred Dwyer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake with Rev. William Vander Werff as celebrant. Friends may meet the family on Monday, March 30, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with The Rosary at 4 p.m. at The Spring Lake Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 213 E. Savidge St., Spring Lake, MI 49456. Memorials in Julie’s name may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Right to Life.
