Julie Ann Yeck's Obituary
Julie Ann (Schuch) Yeck passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband of 49 years by her side. Julie was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Marvin and Florence (Ulicki) Schuch. She graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1969. Soon after graduation she met the love of her life, Jack William Yeck. Jack and Julie were married at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Saginaw, Michigan on April 17, 1971. Within a year of their marriage the couple welcomed their first child and moved to Muskegon, Michigan. Julie was a stay at home mother for many years as they welcomed two daughters into their growing family. In 1984 they moved to their dream home near Muskegon Lake where they raised their family and enjoyed hosting many celebrations. Julie went on to get her Associate’s Degree from Muskegon Community College. She decided to join the workforce and worked helping families at the Friend of the Court. In her recent years Julie loved to take gambling trips with her daughters, visit with friends and family, play games, watch movies, and enjoyed eating out. Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Jack William Yeck; her three children and their spouses: Jack (Laura) Yeck of Muskegon, Christine (Scott) Fry of Saginaw, and Carolyn Yeck of Muskegon; four grandchildren: Natalie Yeck of Grand Rapids, Summer Yeck of Bellaire, Chloe Fry of Ypsilanti, and Gabriel Fry of Saginaw; Siblings: Chuck (Kris) Schuch of Saginaw, Ralph Schuch of Saginaw, Wayne Schuch of Saginaw, Ann (Mike) Bauer of Zilwaukee; Additional family: Doug (Linda) Yeck, Jim Harryman, Sheryl (Mike) Flannery, Kevin (Kathy) Yeck, and Joe Rembish along with many additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Julie was predeceased by her parents Marvin and Florence Schuch, her sister Nancy Rembish, her sisters-in-law Janice Schuch and Joan Harryman, and her loving dog Shirley. Her family would like to thank her home healthcare giver, April, for all of her help and support and the Laketon Township Emergency Response Team for the excellent care they gave Julie over the years. The family is planning a celebration of Julie’s life on May 22, 2021. More information will follow at a later date.
