June Helen Lee's Obituary
June H. Lee, 90, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Lakeshore Assisted Living in Grand Haven, MI. She was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan. She lived in East Grand Rapids, MI and moved to Sand Lake, MI, and spent winters in Titusville, FL. June was a graduate of Muskegon Junior College and was in office administration for many years. She was an executive secretary with the Manhattan Project in Chicago during World War II. She retired in 1990 from Lear Siegler, Inc. She enjoyed antiques, playing bridge and golf, and digging in her many gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Maurice, her son, Bradford Blake Lee, brother Philip (Jean) Hesby, and sister May (Orie) Vegter. June is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lee (Christina) of Bradenton, FL; daughters Melissa Zych (Richard) of Mims, FL; Marti Wile (Lance) of Schoolcraft, MI; and Amy Miedema (Greg) of Spring Lake, MI; and grand children, Stephanie (Jordan) Jones, Miranda Lee, Jake & Jessica Wile, and Lina & Libby Miedema; and great-grand children Oliver, Natalie, and Elyana Jones. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Lakeshore Assisted Living, 16331 Robbins Road, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
