Mrs. June Hattie Sherriff's Obituary
June H. Sherriff of Muskegon, formerly of Beulah, MI, passed away September 16, 2014. She was born March 23, 1924 in Cadillac, MI, the daughter of James and Lila (Campbell) Wallace. The family moved to Honor, MI where she met her husband Gerald. They moved to Muskegon, married on June 26, 1943, and enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. They raised their family in Muskegon, then retired to Beulah, only to return to Muskegon in 1999 to be close to their daughters. June is SURVIVED by her daughters, Cheryl Parmeter and Darlene (John) Lutz both of North Muskegon; grandson Jerry (Dawn) Luczyk of Sparks, NV; granddaughter Katie (Lutz) Corliss of Ionia, MI; great grandson Sean Corliss of Ionia; brother, Ralph Wallace of Paris, MI; sister-in-law Evelyn Wallace of Big Rapids, MI and numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins of the Sibley, Wallace and Sherriff families. June was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons-in-law William Luczyk and Ronald Parmeter; four brothers and three sisters. June will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband at a GRAVESIDE SERVICE at the Benzie Platte Twp. Cemetery on October 11, 2014 at 11:00AM.
