June G. Olson's Obituary
June G. Olson passed away peacefully at Oak Crest Manor in Spring Lake on November 12, 2009. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, March 31, 1920, to Mary and Steven Zurick. She married Wallace Olson on January 15, 1943. He predeceased her October 19, 2004. They had lived in Spring Lake since 1961 and previous to that in Muskegon. She was loved and will be greatly missed by their children Linda (Terry) Frysinger of Frankfort, Michigan, Greg (Bonnie) Olson of Spring Lake, Dennis Olson of New Buffalo, Michigan, and Steven Olson of Grand Haven; and grandchildren Erica (Chris) Crozier, Andrea (Joe) Jackson, Michael Olson, Heide (David) James and Jake (Mikki) Frysinger as well as three great grandchildren. She was a homemaker who treasured her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially loved to travel and her time spent as a Winter Texan for 25 years. She is also survived by two brothers, Jack Zurick and Tom (Beverly) Zurick of Chicago and a niece and nephews. The family appreciated the loving care she received at Oak Crest in Spring Lake for the past 4 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to the Alzheimers Association or Samuel Lutheran Church in Muskegon. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 2PM Saturday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Dr. Fred Halde and Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Spring Lake Cemetery.
