Junior James Young age 80, of Ravenna died, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home in Florida.
Junior James Young was born on March 5, 1929 in Ravenna, Michigan to the late James and Vera (Bennett) Young. James married Gertrude H. (Walter) Young on April 7, 1951 in Ravenna.
James is survived by his wife of 58 years: Gertrude of Ravenna, 2 Sons: Thomas (Kristi) Young of Spring Lake and Mark (Angela) Young of Muskegon. 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. 1 Sister: Inez Macklam of Sparta. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
James was preceded in death in addition to his parents by: 1 Daughter: Linda young, Grandson: Eric Young, 1 Brother: Terry Young and a Sister: Winifred Campbell.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00am at the St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Ravenna with Father Bill Zink celebrant. Burial will be at Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to greet friends. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:00pm.
