Karan A. Nelson's Obituary
Karan A. Nelson, age 79, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 in Muskegon. She was born on March 28, 1940 in Muskegon to Joseph and Gladys (Gustafson) Nelson, and resided in the area most of her life. Karan worked at Aqua Products Company, Inc. in South Carolina. She loved to read, play games on her computer, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and spending time with friends and family. SURVIVORS include three children, Julie Rogers of Roosevelt Park, Jeff (Dorsie) Rogers of Muskegon, and Jodi (Todd) Mergener of Fruitport; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and brother, Joseph (June) Nelson of Ada, MI. Karan was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Nicole Suarez; and sister, Sheila Seppamaki. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11AM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI 49441 (231) 759-8565. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
