Karen M. Rose's Obituary
Karen M. Rose, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2022, at home. She was born on December 9, 1956, to Willard and Velma (Polanyi) Cramer in Muskegon, MI and has been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School class of 1974. She married David Rose in Muskegon, MI. Karen was a dedicated Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Mercy Hospital, specializing in the ER for 29 years. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. She also enjoyed spending her time soaking up the sun, playing cards and watching the latest soap opera. Karen was a fashionista and took pride in her appearance; making sure each detail was perfect. Above all things, she truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her outgoing, spunky and caring spirit will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Jason Rose and Jeffrey Rose; sister, Linda (Russ) Barnes; niece, Stefani Puckett; nephew, Todd (Jeanne) Basch; great-niece and nephews, Brittany Puckett, Andrew Puckett and Zachary Basch. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, David Rose. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A visitation with the family will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions in Karen’s honor can be directed to the family for assistance with services.
