Karl E. Tazelaar's Obituary
Karl E. Tazelaar, age 70, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023. He was born on December 17, 1952, in Muskegon to Henry and Dorothy (Arthur) Tazelaar and resided in the area all of his life. Karl worked as a skilled steel worker for over 40 years and retired from Quality Tool and Stamping. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the beach. He was a talented artist and worked mainly with pen and India ink, creating
drawings which were shown professionally, sold, and given as cherished gifts to family and friends. SURVIVORS include two step-sons, Jody Thorsen and James Kempton; two grandchildren, Ashley (Izaac) Zube and Amanda (Robert Haney) Thorsen; two great-grandchildren, Garyn and Luci; three brothers, Robert (Peggy) Tazelaar, Chuck (Mikalee) Tazelaar and Don (Paula) Tazelaar. A Memorial Luncheon in Karl’s honor will be held on May 13th at McGraft Park from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Share memories with the family online at www.sytsemafh.com.
