Katharine Olson's Obituary
Mrs. Katharine Olson, age 93, passed away Tuesday March 2, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born August 25, 1911 in Akron, Ohio to Steven and Katrina (Hepp) Woorst. On August 15, 1936, she married Richard Olson in South Bend, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1988. Katharine had been a sales person for Woolworth’s 5&10 for many years along with working at Meier Cleaners in Muskegon Heights. She attended Samuel Lutheran Church where she was part of the Elizabeth Ladies Circle. Katharine is SURVIVED by 4 children, Thurene Busman of River Dale, MI; Linda (Wendell) Bradfield of North Muskegon, Nels G. Olson of Madison, WI. and Anna (Thomas ) Gould of Fruitport; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Rickard, and a sister Ann Baird. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Samuel Lutheran Church (540 Houston) with Rev. Chris Anderson officiating. VISITATION will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the
