Katherine A. Farmer's Obituary
Mrs. Katherine A. Farmer, age 29, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1989 to Michael and Rita (Warner) Sarade in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Katie married Joshiwa Farmer on September 21, 2016 in Muskegon. Katie had a kind-hearted and compassionate nature which showed in her work as a home health aide. She belonged to Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and served as a cantor. She loved all animals and was especially fond of cats. Katie enjoyed playing video games, snowboarding with her sister and spending time at home with her husband. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Joshiwa; siblings, Joseph Sarade and Patricia (Paul Garzelloni) Sarade; uncles and aunts; Roger (Linda) Warner and Jeanne (Chris) Montana; many cousins; and her cat, Gracie. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant sister, Joanne Marie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 9 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 E Summit St., 49444) with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 8 from 6-8PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565. Memorial contributions in Katie’s name may be made to Noah’s Project.
