I am so sorry to hear of Kate's death. I had not heard anything about her change in her health and was looking forward to seeing her again to flush her port. I so loved taking care of super woman! I wish miss her and even now when I think of her, I can hear her voice and see that smirk of hers.

I met Kate several years ago when she came to Cedar Creek Township working on the Census. We then hired her as our Zoning Administrator. She became a friend as well as my co-worker. She will be missed.

My condolances to the family and friends. I will always remember Kate as a dear friend, all those years together in high school, then after during my divorces and for getting me sober. All those times we spent around the bonfire talking, deep in conversations about god and our beliefs and about our fears and deepest desires. About life in general, and nothing at all, just silence. I am comforted by the fact she went in peace and in no pain, she is now with family and our friend Tonya Hosko.
Kate was one of my first friends when I moved to the area in elementary school... She taught me how to hold my own playing cards. I'm gonna miss playing Skip Bo with her... My condolences to her family...
