Katherine A. Malcuit's Obituary
Mrs. Katherine A. Malcuit, age 95, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Malcuit was born November 16, 1919 to John and Nellie (Motka) Wizbicki in Kansas City, MO. On September 27, 1941 she married Clifford D. Malcuit and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1997. Katherine was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where she was on the funeral luncheon committee. She was employed as a cook at McAuley Place and Oakridge Schools in the lunch program and the library. She loved to crochet and garden. Katherine is survived by her children Rosemary Dykema of Rapid city, MI, John Malcuit, Ronald (Christene) Malcuit and Nancy (Duane) Camp, all of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Barbara (Paul) Brewer, Mindy (Bob) Edler, Monica (Jake) Horne and David (Charlotte) Ragsdill; 4 great-grandchildren; Brittany, Brianna, Joanna and Ethan. She is also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Cecila Lokovich and Dorothy Taranko. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Ave., with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Egelston Township Cemetery.
