I have a lot of fond memories of Kate from growing up at Covenant and taking part in youth group, missing trips, and summer camp at Cran-Hill Ranch together. She was always fun and enthusiastic, ready to do everything whole-heartedly. I pray for peace and comfort for Cyn, Art, and the Backstrom family, as well as others who have been close to Kate throughout her life.

I feel so truly blessed to have 6 years of friendship with Kate. She was the kind of friend who made you feel heard and loved - she made me laugh until I cried and taught me about boundaries and knowing my own self worth. Kate is without a doubt one of the very best
