So many Great Memories..Aunt Katie has been a constant part of my life from as far as I can remember..
Aunt Katie always stayed with Mom when Uncle Ernie went hunting or fishing..It could be for a weekend or a week, but it was never long enough. There was always Home made Bread and Doughnuts. Mom's house was a great gathering place for her Sisters..
You never got tired of the "Stories about their lives on the farm" or the laughter.
Some of my Memories:
One night brother Jerry came home late at night and was walking down the hallway to the bedroom when there was a scream and shout "Look Out!" He swung around and started fighting and swinging, but no one was there..Aunt Katie was just talking in her sleep.!
Aunt Katie giving me "The Sex Talk".. after..I had Stacy.
The wonderful gifts and cards she lovingly made
Visiting her and sitting at her Kitchen table while we had Tea..
Camping with them and being the only kid..I know I must have been a brat, but I'd do it again in a moment
Hearing how Aunt Katie stabbed Uncle Nick with a Dinner Fork
Listening to the stories about the Unexplained things that went on at the Homestead..The Lanterns swaying to and fro down the street with no one there..or the Fireballs that came out of the Township Cemetary..No wonder I see UFO"s!
The Poker games and the Great Fish Frys at Aunt Katies..It was like a Family Reunion every time..
The bird and fish Aunt Katie would bring with her when she stayed with Mom..I love that Adelle travels the same way.
Thank you for letting me share..
With All MY Love
