Katherine Virginia Sanford's Obituary
Mrs. Katherine Virginia Sanford, age 83, passed away Wednesday evening, May 19, 2010 at her home. She was born October 17, 1926 to James and Effie (Williams) Hutchison in Muskegon. Katherine attended Shiloh Tabernacle Church. She was a talented cake maker who made cakes for all of her children’s weddings. Katherine enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her family. She was also an avid Muskegon Lumberjacks Hockey fan. Katherine is survived by 3 sons, Marlin (Marsha) Sanford of Grand Haven, Rex (Ruth) Sanford of Montague and Tracy (Sheryl) Sanford of Holland; 3 daughters, Bonnie (Curtis) Bentzen of Virginia Beach, VA, Brenda (Dennis) Breuker of Holland and Sarah (Craig) Carson of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Frank (Rachel) Hutchison and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by 1 brother, Kenneth Hutchison and 1 sister, Lois LeRoux. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210.
