Kathie M. Susterich's Obituary
Kathie M. Susterich, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at her home. She was born on May 13, 1943 to Charles and Lillian (Brozek) Dick in Muskegon. Kathie spent many years working for American Grease Stick where she made many long-lasting friendships. She loved spending time at the family’s cottage and would spend all day on her deck watching the boats float by. Kathie was a very loving and understanding, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. On October 20, 1962 she married the love of her life, Marv Susterich, and they spent 56 happy years together; he survives her along with their children, Tim (Nancy) Susterich, Jeff Susterich, Amy (Todd) Murray; grandchildren, Megan (Tyler) McCarl, Courtney Susterich, Ryan Susterich, Tyler (Ashley) Murray, Joe Murray, Matt Murray; great-grandchild, Jacob; sister, Babe Gauthier; brother, Charles “Buzz” Dick; sisters-in-law, Pat Dick, Karen LaChance; and her faithful companion, Nicki. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Dick, brother, Tom Dick; brother-in-law, Ray Gauthier; and sister-in-law, Sandy Dick. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Kathie will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service.
