Kathleen A. "Kathy" Agard's Obituary
Kathleen A. “Kathy” Agard, age 74 passed away at home on Thursday, September 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 1, 1947, to Joseph and Virginia (Davis) Dresen in Muskegon, where she remained a resident. She graduated from North Muskegon high school class of 1965. Kathy most recently worked at Trophy Class Real Estate but dedicated 32 years working as a realtor in the Muskegon area. On February 16, 1979, she married the love of her life, Ken Agard. Together they cherished 43 years of love and endless laughter. Kathy was known for her love of shopping, reading and her pups, Murphy and Toby. She adored spending time with her family at their cabin by the river. Unlike most, Kathy loved mowing her lawn and was known to many as the “lawn ranger”. She was known for being everyone’s personal cheerleader showering you with nonstop support. Kathy was a loving wife, proud mother, wonderful grandmother, amazing sister, dear friend and “facebook” aunt to many. Her sweet natured and caring spirit will truly be missed by many. She is survived by her husband, Ken Agard; 3 children, Richard (Leisha) Kidd, Michelle Agard and Susan (Rodger) Richards; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cherie (Bob) Liskey and Nancy (Roy) Strait; 3 brother, Joe Dresen, Mike Dresen and Dave (Diana) Dresen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph (Virginia) Dresen. Per Kathy’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
