Kathleen L "Katie" Sanford's Obituary
Kathleen (Katie) L. Sanford, 79, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, in Muskegon. She was born February 11, 1945, in Boyne City, MI to Charles R. And Lucelle M. (Poquette) Bean and moved to the Muskegon area several years ago. Katie worked as Registered Nurse at Muskegon hospitals and health care facilities for many years. She also loved her pug puppies. On May 14, 1983, she married Cresson G. Sanford, and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2017. Survivors include three daughters; Vickie Goalen, Julie Matthews, and Melissa Rendulic as well as her sister Mary Snover Carson of Boyne City along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A private service to celebrate and remember Katies’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation services, 737 E.
