Kathleen Elizabeth Michaud-Sheehy's Obituary
Kathleen Elizabeth Michaud-Sheehy, age 74, of Grand Haven passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born March 19, 1944, in Southfield, MI to Gerald and Margaret (Harrington) White, and she married Roger Sheehy on July 12, 1996.
Kathleen worked in sales at Sears for forty years. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and active in charity work with the Women’s Club of Grand Haven, the “Women Who Lunch” group, and the YMCA. Kathleen was enthusiastic about family, friends and life, she also loved her cats.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Sheehy of Grand Haven; daughter, Kelly (Timothy) Simpson of Grand Haven; two step-daughters, Robin (Jared) LeMaire of Norton Shores and Rae Lynn Zellar of Nunica; four grandchildren: David (Shaina) Gotts, Zackary (Ashlee) Cunningham, Raymond (Victoria) Zellar, and Cameron LeMaire; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at St Patrick’s Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Schwartz as celebrant. Friends may meet the family from 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 21, at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services – The VanZantwick Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Kathleen’s name to the Women’s Club of Grand Haven.
