Kathleen Rose "Kathy" Przybylek's Obituary
Kathleen Rose “Kathy” Przybylek, age 89, peacefully passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1935 in Leeds, England to John and Nellie (Meadley) Hargreaves. Kathy married James A. Przybylek on June 20, 1959 in Muskegon. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing on February 22, 2013. She retired from a career in clerical and shipping at Howmet Corporation and was a dedicated volunteer with the Fruitport Library, where she also served on the board. Above all Kathy cherished her family and devoted her life to them. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, Sodoku and Fridays on the beach. Her loving caring ways, laughter, smile and love is greatly missed. She is survived by her four children: Christina Countryman, John (Laura) Przybylek, Lisa Przybylek and James (Traci) Przybylek. Five grandchildren: Michael (Lara) Przybylek, Kayleen Przybylek, John Przybylek, Haleigh Przybylek and Tony (Alex) Przybylek. Four great-grandchildren: Isabella, Brinsley, Ava and Anton, with one more on the way, Her sister Pat Hargreaves, brother in-law Richard Ferski, cousin Karen (Neil) Winckles and special friend Sandy Loveless. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents and her sister Jean Ferski. In accordance with her wishes a private family service will be held.
