Kathleen L. Przybytek's Obituary
Mrs. Kathleen “Kate” Przybytek, age 74, of West Olive passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at Henry Ford Hospital. She was born in Dayton, OH to John and Mary (Cady) Donnellan. On June 14, 1970, she married James Przybytek in Chicago Heights, IL.
Kate was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church and a former president of the Tri-Cities Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, antiques, and was part of a church guitar group for many years. Kate was very talented in art and music and enjoyed her multiple business ventures. Most of all she loved being a wife, mom, and nanna. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years James; daughter, Laura Przybytek of Grand Haven; son, Brian Przybytek of Grand Haven; granddaughter, Sophia Galbavi; sisters-in-law, Judy Anderson, and Vivian Guest; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; sister, Mary Jo Pantaleo; brother, John Donnellan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Charles Schwartz celebrating. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contribution in memory of Kate may be given to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation or any favorite charity that helps to support our dedicated healthcare workers.
