Dear Adam, Shari, and Family,
I first met Kathy years ago at St. Patrick's "Walking Club." We instantly bonded because she was so friendly and full of spirit. During that hour, we often chose to walk outside if the weather permitted. We both were pretty fast walkers back then, and had so much fun walking and talking with each other and other ladies in the group. I really missed her when she moved to be with her treasured family on Beaver Island, but knew she would be so happy with her family there. I was surprised and happy when she moved back to Grand Haven and St. Patrick's and continued to see and work with her at Church events and Charity and Justice meetings. I sat at a table with her at one of the last public workshops held at St. Patrick/ St. Anthony's before COVID shut everything down. We both were using canes by then!!!
I am currently on vacation in Alabama and am returning very late April 30. I am so disappointed that I will miss Kathy's memorial service but please know I have all of you on my daily prayer list and am keeping you in my heart and thoughts. I send you all my deepest sympathy!!

Kathy was a friend when she worked for the U.S. Postal Service, in Seal Beach. She drifted when after giving birth to her son.
Kathy was my friend for many years. We enjoyed St. Patrick's St Anthony's Catholic Church and hugged when we saw each other. I missed her when she moved to Beaver Island and was so happy when she moved back. Kathy took communion to my parents, the Fricks and was a wonderful person. She met my daughter at Gift retreat and sat at her table. I was so surprised to see her there. May God wrap His loving arms around her forever.

So very very sorry for your loss. We met her many many years ago in Stephen Ministry at St. John Vianney Parish in Wyoming MI. I remember a trip we took with her and Jackie Pointer to Grand Haven for the Coast Guard Festival. She had a darling home and was always very welcoming to all. May God Bless you all with his gentle Peace and comfort.

I was fortunate to meet Kathy at St. Patrick Church in Grand Haven many years ago. We shared interests in charity and justice and attended related meetings and events. I remember feeling a sense of loss when she left the area and gladness when she moved back again. She shared with us her bright, buoyant spirit and indomitable enthusiasm.
May God provide you comfort and bring to mind good memories of Kathy.

Kathleen was a friend and co-worker at Kentwood PO in the late '80s, we had a lot of fun and you will be missed.
Kathy was a wonderful friend in high school and after. She, with three others made a decision to move to California not long after graduation. She returned to Muskegon for a short while and we attended community college together for a semester. She stayed at my house quite often and we commuted to classes together. During this time she convinced me to return to Seal Beach, CA with her. This was huge because my parents were dead set against ii plus my education would be interrupted. Since I’d never been away from home my blind determination won and we left. This decision and experience changed me in so many positive ways, giving me courage and direction to go forward in my life. I attribute this to Kathy.
Dear Adam, Sheri and family, I send my deepest condolences to you all. Your Mom and I were water exercise buddies for years and years and then we discovered we like the beach too but before 1:00. One of my fondness memories was last summer. We both needed walking sticks to walk. I have a portable red wagon and we met at Grand Haven City beach, loaded up the wagon with chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels, cell phone and sun screen. We hauled it down to the end of the ramp and set up. When it was time to leave we loaded everything back the wagon and tried to start back up the ramp. Not so easy! Going down was a piece of cake. We were so blessed that day. 2 wonderful, younger women offered to haul it to my car. Then a man who wanted my parking space loaded my things into my car so he could park his. Cathy and I were so grateful to live in a place where strangers are so thoughtful. We shared that day many times and laughed about our initial determination to get the wagon load back to my car.
We also Attended many of the concert offerings in the area. I will miss her smile, her determination and her friendship.
I attended her virtual burial mass. Wish I could met you in person. Peace to you at this very difficult time
Kathleen was an active member of the Charity & Justice Commission at St Patrick-St Anthony Parish. Her interests & involvement was varied. When sharing information about her son & family she just lit up. Her smile was infectious. She will be greatly missed. I'm sure Heavens gates swung open wide to welcome her Home. My deepest condolences to her family.
