Kathleen Robillard-St. Amour's Obituary
Kathleen Robillard-St. Amour, age 92, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at her home. She was born November 6, 1930 in Muskegon to Stanley and Marcella (Jorrison) Swears and lived her entire life in the area. Kathleen married Gerald Robillard on May 6, 1950 and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2012. She later married Arthur St. Amour on October 4, 2015 and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2023. Prior to retirement, Kathleen worked at Mercy Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where she established the parish food pantry and was a CCD teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. In her earlier years, Kathleen served as a Cub Scout, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She was an avid Muskegon Big Reds Fan. Kathleen was a sassy lady and loved to treat life as an adventure. She had a very fun side to her and always quick with her laugh. Kathleen loved to spend time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Survivors include 5 children, Diane (Bob) Kartes, Cindy (Rusty) Stone, Brenda (Steve) Bozik, Annette (Jeff) Ream, Mark Robillard; 3 generations of grandchildren; 1 daughter-in-law, Wanda Robillard; 1 brother, Burrell Swears; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Mike Robillard and Pam Sorensen; 1 granddaughter, Jessica Stone; her parents, Stan and Marcella Swears; and 2 brothers, Stan and Marvin Swears. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, August 17, 2023 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 with the Rev. Fr. Douglas A. Braun presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Love, INC. or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
