Kathleen Thompson's Obituary
Kathleen Thompson, age 69, of Grand Haven passed away March 28, 2026, at home. She was born May 14, 1956, in Detroit to John and Blossom (Montgomery) Kimock. On September 2, 1978, she married Lance Thompson in East Lansing, MI at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Kathleen was a member of the St. Martha Parish in Okemos, MI and taught religious education over the years. With her background in nursing and hospice she worked at the Jackson prison as part of her ministry. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and especially baking.
She is survived by her husband, Lance; two children: Ryan (Kate) Thompson, and Kristin Martin; four grandchildren; siblings; Debbie, Connie, Sandi, Kelli and Johny; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lauren Elisabeth, and son, Adam Christopher.
A private mass will take place. Burial will be in Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Kathleen may be given to hospice of your choice.
