Kathleen M. "Kathy" Zeller's Obituary
Kathleen M. “Kathy” Zeller, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born on January 1, 1960 to Melvin and Betsy (DeGraff) Ernst in Grand Haven, MI. Kathy graduated from Spring Lake high school class of 1978. She was a dedicated employee of GlobalTec in Spring Lake for over 10 years, where she worked as an assembler. On September 8, 2003, she married the love of her life, James “Jim” Zeller Jr. in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 18 years full of love, laughter and endless adventures. Kathy had many hobbies she enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling. She was also blessed with a green thumb when it came to her garden and truly loved spending time at her koi pond with all her fish friends. Above all things, she genuinely enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandsons. Kathy was a loving and tender-hearted spirit whose radiant smile will always be remembered. She will be missed by so many. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Zeller Jr.; daughter, Heather Griswold; son, James R. Zeller III; 2 grandsons, Peyton Loader and Logan Griswold; mother, Betsy Ernst; sister, Cheryl (Joel) Sheridan; 2 brothers, David Ernst and Donald (Cindi) Ernst; nieces, Elizabeth Ernst and Natalie (Vince) Marrone; nephews, Brian (Claire) Sheridan, Dale (Michelle) Sheridan and Scott (Melinda) Sheridan; mother-in-law, Beverly Zeller; sister-in-law, Cindy Zeller; and loving pup, Merle. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ernst; and father-in-law, James Zeller Sr. A private Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held.
