Kathleen A. Prior's Obituary
Ms. Kathleen A. Prior, age 52, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at her home. She was born June 3, 1953 in Grand Rapids, MI to Henry and Frances (Smith) Prior and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. She had worked 19 years for the State of Michigan as an instructor for the school of the blind. She was a member of Unity Reformed Church and was active with a local support group for the blind. SURVIVORS include 2 brothers, Dirk H. Prior and Philip H. (Kathy) Prior; 2 nephews, Joseph Philip (Angela) Prior and Jeffrey Philip (Shannon Brady) Prior; 1 great-niece, Avery Elizabeth Brady; uncle, Casey (Joan) Smith; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry (1955) and Frances (1998). A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Unity Reformed Church (1521 Porter Road) with Pastor Kyle DeYoung presiding. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church.
