Kathleen Sue Skidmore's Obituary
Mrs. Kathleen Sue Skidmore, age 74, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010, at her home. She was born January 9, 1936, in Saginaw, MI, to Gerald M. and Olka (Klecker) Wade. Kathleen moved to the Muskegon area as a very young girl. On June 25, 1955, she married Paul Skidmore and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1998. Prior to her retirement, Kathleen had worked for Orchard View Community Schools, provided day care services at Great Day Child Care, and owned and operated Video Plus with her son, Scott. Kathleen loved her family and spent lots of time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Alaina) Skidmore, Scott Skidmore and Cindy (Rob Smith) Skidmore, all of Muskegon Twp. and Jeff Skidmore of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren, John, Megan, Katie, Alex, Allison, Amanda and Adam; brothers, Pat (Marie) Bennett and Barry Stallings; sisters, Sue Rosenhauer, Isabelle (Bub) Neismer, Sally (Jimmy) Gould and Sharon Upson; many nieces and nephews. A PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held this spring at Crockery Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Kathleen’s name may be made to Orchard View Athletics or Mercy VNS and Hospice Services.
