Kathlyn Joyce Ludlow's Obituary
Kathlyn Joyce Ludlow, age 71, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in her home. She was born June 3, 1951 in Grand Haven, MI to Harold and Una (Hudson) Thompson. Kathy drove bus at Fruitport Community Schools for 26 years. She worked various other jobs throughout her life. Kathy was known for her giving nature and she often went without to provide for family and friends. Kathy enjoyed many pleasures in life, cooking for family and friends, her four grandkids, two great-grandkids, shopping, traveling, gardening, and nature. In Kathy’s later years she was known as a bit of a foody, she and neighbor Gladys would seek out new restaurants and ice cream parlors. Survivors include her sons, Kevin Thompson and Ronnie Ludlow; grandkids, Samantha Thompson, Michael Thompson, Evan Ludlow and Claire Ludlow; great-grandkids, Lincoln Huebsch and Jameson Huebsch along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, Una (Hudson) Thompson; father, Harold Eugene Thompson; brother, Gene Thompson; sisters, Pam Tatro, Hope Noordhoek; nephew, Tim Tatro and her ex-husband, Ron Ludlow. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church (1070 Quarterline Rd, Muskegon, MI 49442) at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Terri Gleason will be officiating the service. There will be a luncheon immediately following.
