Kay will be deeply missed by her friends at the American Red Cross, where she spent over 28 years volunteering. She volunteered at our front desk, answering the phones and working with the public. She weathered some very difficult times and some major disasters, such as 9/11 and Katrina...dealing with people with a deep sense of compassion and love. As the first person that the public saw or heard, we were always proud of the first impression Kay gave them of our organization.
