I was Kayes hairdresser for the last 35to 40 years and we became very good friends.....I will miss her bunches as I do all the sisters,Elsie, Mary and Annie.....guess its the end of an era.....rest in PEACE ladies and God Bless Elly Sullivan....
She was one of my favorite teachers, always impeccably dressed and hair done. I loved to see her smile. I was defending her to another class mate one day and she only heard the bad part of the conversation, which she mistook as coming from me. I've always felt bad about that. Very fond memories of Mrs. Taulbee. I was in her class and won the 5th grade spelling bee. She was so proud of me! She let me pick a restaurant that she would take me and my family to. My tastes were very simple in 5th grade. I picked Long John Silver. I laugh about my choice to this day. She was a great teacher and a sweet person!
