Kathryn C. LeMieux-Clinard's Obituary
Kathryn C. LeMieux-Clinard, age 86, of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at a Muskegon hospital. She was born March 27, 1920, to Albert and Agnes DeLaney in Muskegon, and she married Dr. A.C. LeMieux in Muskegon. He preceded her in death in 1966, and she married Winton Clinard on September 21, 1990 in Greenville.
Mrs. Clinard was a long-time resident of Grand Haven and a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and she enjoyed singing, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Winton; a daughter, Colleen Duga of Grand Haven; a son, Fred LeMieux of Grand Haven; 5 grandchildren: Stuart Duga, Sean Duga, Lisa (Joe) Berger, Scott (Heather) Duga, and Gabe Maniwczak; and 8 great-grandchildren plus 1 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dr. A.C. LeMieux; 1 granddaughter, Caesy LeMieux on February 18, 1987; 2 sisters, Dorothy Fitzpatrick and Mary Gannon; and 2 brothers, Ray and Bill DeLaney.
The service for Mrs. Clinard will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Leonard Sudlik officiating. Friends may meet the family 7-9 p.m. Thursday, January 25, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 26, at the funeral home, with a Scripture Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
