I am sorry to hear of Aunt Kathryn's passing. I do hope she did not suffer greatly in her last days. I remember her and Uncle Nida coming to my Grandmother's at Eagle Lake and visiting or going rowing with Chuckie in one of the boats. Uncle Nida was always finding something to fix like a motor or such. My Mom and I last visited with Aunt Kathryn in the fall 2 years ago when we drove up to see her, after going to church in Allegan at the Congregational church there. ( My Mom has since seen her but I was not with then.)
Mom and Aunt Kathryn did a little traveling together when my grandmother was still in Florida and they went off gallavanting so to speak. Aunt Kathryn was a good sport for things that were new to her.
Aunt Kathryn was always soft spoken and tender. She will be missed and as my Aunt Eleanor has mentioned, Kathryn was the last of her generation which leaves my Mom and Aunt E. feeling vulnerable since their "little" brother Uncle Bill passed away 3 years ago.
Peace to all in the family. I pray for God's comfort in this time of loss.
I like to imagine that Aunt Kathryn has been united with family beyond in heaven and that no one is hobbled by earthly infimities so they run and skip freely enjoying the light and love.
God Speed,
