Kathy J. Beauregard's Obituary
Katherine J. Beauregard, age 87, went to the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Poppen Residence. She was born on April 28, 1932 to Edward and Lucy (MacMillan) Kendall in Grand Rapids, MI. On September 21, 1974 she married Robert Beauregard and they spent 26 years together until his passing in March of 2001. Kathy was a faithful and active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church; helping on funeral luncheons, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and would take communion to area shut ins. She enjoyed bowling, camping and loved making blankets for her kids and grandkids. Towards the end of Kathy’s work life, she was a smiling face acting as a greeter for Sam’s Club. Kathy is survived by her children, Mary (Clark) Bingham, Terry (Mark) McIlrath, Kathy (Duane) Braddy, Roberta (Jon) Mathews; grandchildren, Mary (Charlie) Umbanhowar, Scott (Demetra) Anscomb, Kimberly (Rich) Reed, Becky (Dan) Pratt, John (Michelle) Schwing, Richard (Ashley) Schwing, Kevin (Ginni) Braddy, Zachary Mathews, Joshua Mathews, David (Kalisha) Roller, Maria Stevenson; 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Walt and Pat Karr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; grandchildren, Robert Bingham, Jennifer Mathews, Greg Mathews, great-grandson, Jason Schwing; and brother, Edward M. Kendall, Jr. A VISITATION with Kathy’s family will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at The Sytsema Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with a ROSARY to be prayed at 5:00 PM. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave.) with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery.
