Kathy L. Smith-Rouse's Obituary
Kathy L. Smith-Rouse, age 56, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born March 11, 1958 in Muskegon to Wesley and Lorraine (Bray) Hutson. Kathy was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. She loved everyone, and that was shown in the many children and grandchildren she helped raise. SURVIVORS include 5 children: Tina Perez, David (Talia) Hutson, Roy Krisatis, Robert Smith III, Brandon Smith; 11 grandchildren; her father, Wesley Hutson; 3 brothers: Wesley Hutson, Jr., Mark (Debra) Hutson, Fred Hutson; 3 sisters: Deborah (Larry) Bullard, Jennifer (Jeff) Bridenstine, Sabrina (Jerry) Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine; love of her life, Robert Smith; and niece, Sherry Bullard. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210, with Charlie “Doug” Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the Henry Ford Transplant Institute will be appreciated.
