Katie Renea Schofield's Obituary
Miss Katie Renea Schofield, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 10, 2007. She was born September 12, 1980 in Muskegon to Dale L. Schofield and Laura A. (Richmond) Schofield and had lived her entire life in the area. Katie had worked as a waitress for several area restaurants. She attended Fruitland Covenant Church. SURVIVORS include her father, Dale L. Schofield of Muskegon and her mother, Laura A. Schofield of Muskegon; step-brother, Donald Abrahamson of Rothbury; special friend, Raymond A. Hill, Jr. of Ravenna; paternal grandmother, Hazel E. Schofield of Muskegon; maternal grandfather, Daniel (Vivian) Abrahamson of Rothbury; 2 uncles, Daniel Abrahamson and Tom Schofield; 3 aunts, Patricia (Craig) Andrew, Rhonda (Larry) Howland, and Laurie (Mark) Kohlbeck. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sandra Abrahamson (1992) and her uncle, William Richmond (1985). A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Fruitland Covenant Church (4283 Weber Rd.) with Pastor Brian Kyle officiating. INTERMENT will follow at Fruitland Township Cemetery. VISITATION with Katie’s family will be 4-8 PM Friday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210.
