Katy Lou Cole's Obituary
Katy Lou Cole, age 79, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. She was born June 11, 1939, in Grand Haven to Edwin and Katherine (Ruiter) Crow, and she married James Cole in 1955, he preceded her in death on April 5, 1984.
Katy was an avid visitor to downtown Grand Haven, sharing her art with anyone who she crossed paths with along the way. She also loved her two cats.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Betty (Cole) Bosse of Nunica; three grandchildren: David (Sarah) Bosse, Amanda (Lance) Willea, and Jeremiah Bosse; three great-grandchildren: Keegan, Jameson, and Aubrey; her sister, Lorraine Bennett of Hudson, North Carolina; two brothers, Elmer and William Crow both of Grand Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Crow, brothers, Harold “Toby” Clover, Richard Crow, and Edward Crow, two sisters-in-law, Katherine Crow and Joyce Crow.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services – The VanZantwick Chapel 620 Washington Ave., Grand Haven. Memorials to Life Circles are appreciated. Share memories with the family at their online guest book at www.sytsemafh.com.
